Function describes behavior; finish describes appearance

Those two fields solve different problems. A matching finish does not make two locks functionally interchangeable.

Finish numbers vary by standards family and manufacturer. Confirm the exact code on the current product and the proposed replacement; do not match from a screen color alone.
